______________: Judge Kim Hall has served as an elected official in Starke County for over 22 years. He was first elected to the position of Starke County Prosecuting Attorney in 1986 and served in that capacity for 18 years, being re-elected in 1990, 1994, 1998, and 2002. During that time, he was also elected at the state level to serve all Indiana Prosecuting Attorneys as Chairman of the Indiana Prosecuting Attorneys Council. In 2004, he was elected to the position of Judge of the Starke Circuit Court, and began serving a six year term on January 1, 2005. He presently serves the Judicial Conference of Indiana on the Community Relations Committee, which focuses upon education and the relationship between the court and the community. Judge Hall is a graduate of Valparaiso University School of Law and has been a member of the Indiana bar for over 27 years. He continues to stay informed of the developments in Indiana law by participating in continuing legal education programs sponsored by the Indiana Judicial Center and the Indiana Supreme Court.
